Join us for a cozy afternoon concert among the bookshelves at Read Queen Bookstore & Café, where Josh Halpern, Artistic Director of the Cultural Caravan, will share an intimate solo performance for cello and curious ears.
The program will blend timeless works by J.S. Bach with lyrical, contemporary pieces by Valentin Silvestrov, Caroline Shaw, and Mark O’Connor—a quietly powerful journey through sound, space, and storytelling.
Come early to grab a coffee, find your favorite corner, and stay after to browse the shelves and maybe take home a book (or two). This is music made for close listening — up close.
