Solo Piano Recital at the Erie Community Center

Pianist Julia Hamos is an acclaimed artist known for her instinctive expression, adventurous repertoire, and deep engagement with music spanning Bach to contemporary composers. In what can only be described as a coup, Julia will perform an exclusive piano recital — featuring conversation with the Cultural Caravan's Artistic Director, cellist Josh Halpern — at the Erie Community Center, with refreshments provided by Erie Rotary!

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Mannes School of Music, and the Barenboim-Said Akademie, Julia has studied with eminent mentors including Sir András Schiff, Richard Goode, and Daniel Barenboim. Julia has performed at prestigious venues such as the Pierre Boulez Saal, Wigmore Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Liszt Academy, and has collaborated with celebrated artists like Tabea Zimmermann and Christian Tetzlaff.
